The programme involves weekly check-ins with your assigned instructor where you will reflect on your week, provide weight and measurement data, progress photos, as well as to discuss what you can do to continue your progress.

Gary Lowe recently completed one of our 12-week transformation programs after experiencing a family loss that forced him to re-evaluate his own lifestyle choices. Gary felt that he needed some extra guidance with his nutritional habits. After training with one of our PT’s Jordon at Pendle Leisure Centre for some time, Gary felt confident in embarking on this journey using Jordon’s knowledge and experience, alongside a structured plan of action. After the 12 weeks were over, we asked Gary about his experience and this is what he has to say…
At the start of this year, my younger brother passed away unexpectedly. He wasn’t looking after himself physically, and this started to make me think about my own lifestyle, the choices I make and the habits I am choosing.
Additionally, my daughter asked me one day if I was pregnant which I responded no. She said she thought I was having twins! Of course, this was tongue in cheek as she is only young, although if anything, this was something that made me think I need to start making changes soon!
I have been attending the gym at Pendle Leisure Centre for a few years and as I was always underweight, I was just consumed by putting weight on and was eating whatever I wanted to without much consideration. In time, this of course caught up on me and I piled on the pounds!
Jordon has been my PT for a while, he has always supported me and given good guidance within sessions. I know Jordon has been doing the 12-week transformations and getting results with people from this over the past year or so. As I already have a good relationship with Jordon and trust his knowledge, we spoke at length about what the transformation would entail and what would be required. I knew this was a good opportunity for me to make a change and I was more than ready for the challenge. Naturally, I am a very driven individual, so I didn’t need motivation as such, it was guidance from what to do in the gym and how to do it effectively on the nutritional side. Jordon structured a very well thought out and tailored plan which gave me a platform of what to do in the gym but also exactly what to do with my eating habits, how many calories to stick to for weight loss and reducing inches throughout the 12 weeks.
Within the first few days I did struggle, but I was very soon used to the set training style, the tracking of foods, and the habits I had been set daily (Steps, Water Intake, Protein intake in foods). The best thing about it was I could eat what I wanted but made sure I stayed within the calorie allowance set and ensured I hit my protein/ fibre goals.
Hitting the protein wasn’t an issue it was the portion control I had struggled with before. Shaun the centre manager gave me some advice on how to satisfy a sweet tooth which I found helpful. He advised me to eat jelly pots that were low-calorie and provided a sweet fix and the game-changing low-calorie ice cream. As time went on and my calories were reduced, I found it easier and easier due to having more knowledge. Jordon would be a massive help sending me recipes, giving me more ideas so I wasn’t eating the same food over and over.
The training-routine was a mixture of weight training and cardio. Jordon had set me within the first month to complete 5k on a bike each session to build up my endurance. At the start I found this incredibly challenging. The first few times I felt like my heart was going to explode!
After a few weeks, though, I got used to it like he said I would along with everything else. I was looking forward to doing the cardio. By the end of the fourth week I was able to complete 5k on the bike in under 13 minutes, whereas at the start it was such a struggle to just complete in 15 minutes. By the end of the 12 weeks, I was able to do 20 minutes on a bike and complete up to 8k, the change in my endurance was outstanding. With the free weight training Jordon constantly reminded me of my form and technique, lifting safely and effectively, getting my mind to muscle connection. I am currently stronger and fitter than I have ever been with better knowledge! I now have my sights set on looking at one day doing possible competitions, this may be a way off, but I know I am on the right path. The thing that went the best was my desire to continue each week as I was getting fitter and not quitting as things got tougher. Life still goes on and I have had some health issues and little injuries that has impacted my training, but I’ve just adapted and persevered.
The hardest challenge has been trying to maintain my training and food intake while still living life and being a dad to my two children. It has been difficult when the kids have been unwell and passing it to me and at times not getting sleep, all part and parcel of being a father. Although I have kept the mindset that this is an investment in me and I want to do the best I can for myself.
Another good thing about the 12 weeks is that I now choose to walk a lot more instead of driving for the convenience of getting to somewhere quicker. This was a habit set for me and it has really benefited my mental health.
Jordan has been a fantastic coach and kept in regular contact, he has been on hand whenever I needed him and given me advice on training and nutrition and been incredibly supportive. Whenever I have reached out to him, he has got back to me. He has also been flexible and understanding when life events have happened which was helpful and much appreciated, it took the pressure off. Jordon has continually supported me in any ups or downs. He’s been the coach I needed and a friend at the same time.
I would highly recommend the 12-week transformation course for anyone who wants to be held accountable and have a guarantee of results within the 12 weeks with the guidance on hand. Before, I lacked direction, understanding and knowledge, know I have all three!
I am so happy with my results, I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been in my life, I have achieved what I set out to do but the journey will continue, and I will only strive for more and I know Jordon will keep pushing me on and on.

Vidya Persaud completed one of our 12-week Transformation programs this year, after not feeling completely comfortable in her own skin. After speaking with Jordon, one of our fitness instructors and PTs, Vidya decided to take the plunge and start on the 12-week journey. We asked Vidya how she feels 12 weeks on, and here’s what she told us…
“Over two years ago I changed my job and became very comfortable with ‘life’ as I frequently put it. I have trained for a long time, and as much as I was doing fitness classes and running, I seemed to be stuck in the same place not really progressing. I found I can lift, I can run and just about everything else, although the main issue is that in my own skin, I was very uncomfortable with how I looked and felt, which I explained to Jordon.
For a while Jordon has been talking about the 12-week transformation program and what it would entail, the progression that comes with it not just physically but mentally. So, one Monday night when I was attending a class run by Jordon in December, I told him I will sign up for the 12-week transformation and what my aims and objectives would be. Jordon guaranteed me he would be here with me every step of the way, which he has been. And now here we are, 12 weeks on… it was a very challenging 12 weeks, but I love who I am today, the results I have got, and I will not be going backwards for sure.
The encouragement from Jordon through the whole process has been fantastic, He has always been on hand to speak to me about anything I have had to ask, from the exercise routines to the nutritional guidance. Every Monday checking in with me and reminding me to “hit that protein” “hit the water intake” hit the step count” to keep myself disciplined and motivated, even now after the end of this program I still check to see if there is a text from Jordon. His passion to see you progress, to keep you motivated and driven helped me so much to push myself more and more! I have learnt so much from various training patterns and exercises to making better choices with food leading to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
You also have the team at the sports centre always giving you that extra bit of encouragement. The gym community is just brilliant! For anyone wanting to take that first step please do it, it is hard work, but you have so much support and guidance, if you follow the advice given you will only see results and it is the best feeling! And I must say the team I train with every day; you are the best. The 12-week transformation has done so much for me and for anyone in a position of unhappiness, see it as an investment in you and you are doing it for you!”

Debbie Marples recently completed one of our 12-week transformation programs with Jordon after falling out of love with the gym and wanting to regain her confidence and motivation following injury. She tells us all about her goals, challenges, achievements, and how she got there with the 1-1 help from one of our specialist coaches.
“I have found the 12-week transformation has helped me to get my motivation back, following a difficult few months with chronic pain where I was unable to train and lost my love for the gym. I needed to gain my confidence and dedication back following injury and needed to adapt the way I trained around longterm issues with two labrum hip tears. I had put weight on from a lack of mobility through debilitating pain and was struggling mentally as an impact of all of this.
Jordon listened to all of my problems and limitations around my injuries and pulled together a tailored plan to get me back in the gym which included exercises to strengthen the muscles around my hip, following physio advise.
I am really happy with the progress I have made over the 12 weeks. My main goal being to keep injury-free and be able to maintain being active to support my overall health and lose weight to reduce extra strain on my hip. Jordon has been hugely supportive and understanding where I have needed it but equally given me motivation and encouragement to reach my goals. He has been approachable and available when I needed him when I have had little wobbles and has reached out to check in with me on a regular basis to see how I am getting on.

Patricia recently completed one of our 12-week transformation programs with personal trainer Jordon, after struggling to find motivation in her gym sessions, not really knowing what to do, and noticing more aches and pains in daily life. Jordon stepped in and told Patricia about our 12-week program, perfect for someone like herself who needed guidance and support to get back on track with her health and wellness. Here’s what she thought 12 weeks on.
“Before starting the 12-week transformation I was feeling rather down, lacking motivation, lethargic and constantly finding myself full of aches and pains. I made a few half-hearted attempts going to the gym, not really knowing what to do and just making things up as I went. One day Jordon a Personal Trainer at PLC approached me and spoke to me. We spoke in depth about how I was feeling and where I was at and he suggested looking at doing the 12-week transformation with himself coaching me, right away I thought “Oh I couldn’t do that, it’s for younger people”. However, after listening to him, he explained what I would need to do, and how I would have his support every step of the way and in an instant, I thought “Wait, maybe I could do this”.
From that moment, that was the turning point, for the next 12 weeks I was fully committed. Jordon set me a specific training program and went through this with me before I started which helped me to just go into the gym and follow step by step, knowing what I was doing! Aside from the gym I was also set with specific goals calorie-wise, with protein and fibre goals to hit each day, this I did struggle with, but Jordon was on hand to give me guidance and reassurance, tips and ideas to help. Also, I was set to complete daily habits, hitting a step target, water intake, and completing workouts not just in the gym but swimming too which I really enjoy. By having this structure, I was much more active, which put me in a better routine which has benefited me massively.
The 12-week transformation has taught me a lot, self-discipline, how to train in the gym and choosing better nutritional choices. Right from the start and all the way through I felt at ease. Jordon is a fantastic Personal trainer and coach, he was very involved, checking in with me, updating my weekly check-ins and always on hand when I needed him, very accommodating and always encouraging me. I’m so grateful for all of this! I never would have imagined the progress I have made, losing 32 inches overall and 8lbs down, I am the fittest and strongest I have ever been at 63! Not just physically but mentally I feel so much better! It is never too late to start your fitness journey, and you always have the support and guidance to do it! Anne-Marie recently took on our 12-week Transformation program with Personal Trainer Jordon, after struggling to lose weight and looking for new challenges to shed some pounds. She tells us about her journey from lacking confidence in the gym, to utilising her free monthly personal training sessions, alongside XR2 classes in order to keep up her new routine. In total measurements, Anne-Marie lost 58 inches and 22lbs. An amazing achievement in just 12 weeks!
“I decided to do the 12-week Transformation program after speaking with Jordon, a Personal Trainer at Pendle Leisure Centre. I had hit a barrier with weight loss and was stuck for ideas. My aim was to lose weight and inches as I wanted to feel better in myself. After numerous conversations with Jordon, he was very helpful with any questions I had prior to starting which put me at ease.
Before I had started Jordon set me a specific program which consisted of training sessions in the gym, while still managing to attend the XR2 classes that I really enjoy. I had a say in how I would do the program exercise-wise so that I was invested. I have always been motivated to go to the XR2 classes at Pendle Leisure Centre although I really lacked confidence in going into the gym. Jordon showed me every exercise I could do in the gym with the right form and technique ensuring I wouldn’t injure myself. If needed, Jordon was on hand to explain anything I may have been doing incorrectly. I used my free PT session once every four weeks to go over my program and make any changes that were required. Aside from the gym, I was set a calorie allowance with daily habits, for example hitting a step count, water intake, protein and fibre goals. I would check in every Monday so that Jordon could review my previous week and give any feedback to help my progression.
From completing the 12 weeks I have learnt a lot about nutrition, the importance of protein and fibre in your diet. I have also learnt a lot of good daily habits which have now become a routine. I would say my biggest achievement has been getting into the gym and building my confidence, as before I really lacked that. I also learnt that you do not have to be consistent every day – it is ok to have an off day, and tomorrow is a new day. Just do your best to remain disciplined. Within the 12 weeks, I have still enjoyed eating out and nights out, I have just made sure I planned this and made different choices than I would normally. I really enjoyed the process of the 12 weeks, and it went so fast! I was very surprised each week when the inches came down and the weight too. But each week I felt that I had achieved something. Throughout the 12 weeks people that don’t see me on a regular basis were commenting on my weight loss and how well I looked. This really helped me to stay on track.
Prior to the 12-week transformation program, I have had PT sessions with Jordon, he has always been approachable. Jordon was great throughout the 12 weeks, checking in to see how each week was going. Jordon was encouraging and supportive throughout. I will continue my journey, I will be using my free PTs with Jordon to continue to develop my confidence in the gym. I will be continuing with the weekly habits, steps and classes/gym sessions. Remaining consistent with my daily habits striving for even more in the future!”

Seen evidently in his photo comparisons, Sean successfully lost 13lbs and 23 inches in total measurements following his bespoke programme, and is feeling great for it!
“Before starting the 12-week transformation, I felt stuck in a cycle of unhealthy habits, low energy, and dissatisfaction with how I looked and felt. The idea of a focused, goal-driven programme appealed to me because it offered accountability and clear targets. It wasn’t just about losing weight — it was about taking control of my health and overall fitness. The programme was challenging but incredibly rewarding. Each week, I had tailored macro and exercise targets that pushed me out of my comfort zone, along with individualised workouts that made the most of my time at the gym. From the very beginning, Jordon was approachable, encouraging, and always on hand to answer questions or provide advice. Whether it was adjusting a workout, helping me through a plateau, or offering a motivational boost when I needed it, he was there every step of the way. I found Jordon’s coaching style struck the perfect balance between being supportive and holding me accountable, and that made all the difference.
This 12-week transformation has been amazing. Not only have I seen incredible physical results, but I’ve also increased energy and a sense of control over my health.
