Pendle primary school pupils will once again be able to take advantage of free swimming sessions during this year’s February half-term school holiday!

Free Swim Pass Printing Error:  Please note that on some of the passes issued, there is an error with the dates listed for our Easter Holidays. The correct dates for our free sessions are Monday 07 April – Thursday 17 April 2025. We apologise for any confusion.

The swimming sessions have been funded by a number of the Borough’s Town and Parish Councils. Participating Councils include Colne Town Council, Barnoldswick Town Council, Brierfield Town Council, Earby Town Council, Kelbrook & Sough Parish Council, Nelson Town Council, Reedley Hallows Parish Council.

Children aged 5 – 11 years from participating schools will be entitled to swim for free at Pendle Leisure Trust’s three pools – Pendle Wavelengths, Nelson; Pendle Leisure Centre, Colne and West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick, during this year’s half-term holiday.

The full list of holidays this calendar year includes Easter 2024, May Half-Term 2024, Summer 2024, October Half-Term 2024 & February Half-Term 2025. (Please Note – the ‘free swimming sessions’ scheme is not active on Bank Holidays)

Participating schools will issue you with a pass which you’ll need to present at the reception desk upon entry. Please note that the free-swimming passes only allow access at certain times during the holidays.
